2004 Jake's Creek Vineyard
Robert Parker described our 2004 Jake's Creek Vineyard Cabernet Sauvignon as having: “promising notes of sweet vanillin, interrupted with black currants, cedar, licorice, and damp earth.” All our Jake’s Creek wines need a lot of time to develop. Parker said of the ’03 when first tasting it in October of 2005: “If the tannin becomes better assimilated look for the score (90 pts) to rise significantly.” By the end of 2006, Jake’s Creek had garnered scores of 93 and 95, and is still developing layers and layers of intense flavor.

2004 Lakeview Vineyard
This wine is full of black fruit and delicate tannins, with mineral characteristics that are inherent in the Lakeview Vineyard.
Parker said of the barrel sample he tasted: “It is the softest and most approachable of our cabernets . . terroir based . . . medium bodied elegant Bordeaux –style cuvee. It is deep rich and promising.”

An intense wine with rich purple color, impressive ripeness, and floral aromas of currants, blackberry, and blueberry. It fills your mouth with an explosion of ripe fruit flavors that extend to the mid palate and continue to a finish that seems to last forever. Cellar and enjoy over the next 15 years or drink now, but decant for at least an hour. 100% Cabernet Sauvignon fruit from our hillside vineyard.

2003 Jake's Creek Vineyard
Bordeaux style structure with aromas of black fruit, chocolate, and espresso. Elegant and refined with a dense texture, but powerful, concentrated flavors. This fruit forward wine is well balanced and fabulous with food. Decant for at least an hour to allow this young wine to expand and develop. Approachable now, but will impress for years. 100% Cabernet Sauvignon from our estate vineyard.
